“Looking back at my ancestors, seven brothers came from Fort Covington in the late 1800s – one of them, Alexander, settled in Cornwall, the others spread out in the Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry and Prescott Russell area,” explains André Laflèche. “SD&G is my community. It is where I live, where my children grew up, where I do business. I want to show my appreciation and support of our hospital. Through this donation, I wish to share some of the values embraced by my family: respect for all, dignity, inclusivity, understanding … all contributing towards a strong and healthy community. We all have a responsibility to be good stewards to help build a great Ontario.”
